Travelers Want Full Amenity Condo Accommodations
The world has forever changed with the Covid-19 pandemic and so has travel and the hotel industry.
Cleanliness is at the forefront, and many hotels are using this time to redesign protocols, from hotel procedures and room service to menus and staff training and development.
In her April 27 Fodor’s article, writer Johanna Read acknowledges that as things slowly return to normal, travelers might feel more inclined to book full amenity condo accommodations for future travel like at Vivo Resorts Oaxacan Beachfront Living in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
Condo accommodations in smaller boutique properties like Vivo Resorts allow travelers the choice to prepare their own meals in their own kitchens.
Vivo Resorts also offers restaurant take-out service and has a mini market/store on site. The personalized service, enhanced cleanliness, unique experiences, and other perks help to add greater value for our Vivo guests.
As with most in the hotel industry, Vivo Resorts understands that things may never go back to the way it was before. Even though changes are necessary, Vivo Resorts still offers the same warm hospitality and high level of services our customers are used to.
How You Can Help the Tourism & Travel Industry
Understandably, the travel industry is anxious for reassurance that we will soon be traveling again, booking airlines, hotels, and vacation activities. To that end, many in the travel industry are now offering unprecedented deals with generous cancellation policies.
They are also offering people plenty of flexibility. You can book now and make any necessary changes later, if needed. Some are even offering Gift Certificates for those that are not prepared to book any specific dates.
If you already have hotels booked, instead of cancelling, consider postponing your stay and possibly moving it to a later date. This will help support the hotel industry. You will be doing your part to not only help the hotels make it through the current crisis, but also help the local people that support tourism in the destination you are considering.
As Ariela Kiradjian, COO of the Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association has noted, “Travel is what brings our world together, it is how we learn about other cultures and is an important part in people’s lives.”
Supporting Non-Profit Organizations
Many travel companies, hotels, and tourism companies also support local not-for-profit initiatives in their communities including Wildlife Refuges, reserves, and foundations. Non-profits always need support and donations are very much appreciated.
The Vivo Foundation in Puerto Escondido is an example. Established by Vivo Resorts, the Vivo Foundation raises money to help a local orphanage, local children’s sports, and the Sea Turtle Rescue and Preservation program.
