As a second-generation real estate investor, Cary Mullen grew up renting out his parent’s
apartment buildings, vacuuming the hallways and painting the suites; this taught him valuable life lessons that still serve him today. It spawned an early interest and passion for Real Estate in Cary, which led him to obtain his Real Estate License at an early age of 21. In 1991 Cary purchased his first property and doubled his money in just one year. He reinvested and doubled his money again. This market sense in real estate has stayed with Cary through numerous successful investments and developments in many areas of Western Canada including Prince George, Canmore, Banff, Strathmore, Edmonton and Calgary. His numerous co-owned firms have sold-out development projects, concluded condominium conversions and currently own over 60 residential units, 130 home sites and over 6000 acres of land throughout North America. He is focused on strong family values and has a wonderful reputation in every walk of life.
Vision & History
After a horrific ski crash Cary was recuperating in Maui. It was then he truly realized his love for the beach and the ocean and how he needed to live that dream lifestyle. This realization started his search for the “best beachfront location for lifestyle and investment.” As a very analytical and conscientious investor, he created a list of considerations when purchasing ocean front property, this list became “The 44 Critical Factors for Oceanfront Real Estate Investing”. Word travels fast and Cary is now presenting his insights at retirement seminars across the country. After an exhaustive search of 13 countries and thoroughly researching 20 countries more, Cary identified Puerto Escondido as his ideal place.As a dreamer of big dreams his vision evolved from a home on the ocean to a community based resort located in a beautiful area with great amenities. The big incentive behind the resort vision was the ability to share the experience with family, friends, colleagues and other people interested in living a better life.
